  • @ninopatna The line shown was 80lb Fireline tracer braid. I have 300 yds of it on as backing, about 100 yds of 30 lb mono on top of that, and a 80lb shockleader.

  • When the spool diameter gets that low, the drag is multiplied several times, so that shark must've really been pulling hard. I wouldn't be surprised if that was putting out 35 or more pounds of drag with how low the diameter of the spool was right there.
