I'm a bit puzzled why you can't tell someone on a bus that you're a doctor and you think they they may have a life threatening disease. Maybe people don't like to hear it, but I guess.
A very good introduction into todays standard therapy, gives a good overall picture. Unfortunately the part about nutrition is completely insufficient and misleading. (It bacame a little better at the Counting grams and bread-units is a thing of the past. Insuline-resistance and Type-2-D. is a consequence after long-term overdose of fast-resorbed carbohydrates (pizza, pasta, potatobread, cake, bagels, soft drinks, sugar-added breakfest cereals, barbecue sauce, fruit joghurt, ice cream).

The best lecture about diabetes in you tube and very helpful. I can listen to her lecture even for 3 hours, she is excellent+++++
