  • this is called baking and it only works for so long. i did this along with a 12v mod and i still get it. i might have to attempt the heatgun fix.

basically wat he's doing is overheating the GPU but keeping the CPU as cool as possible. google baking a xbox 360 and you'll find out how to do it. and btw, the first videos was rubbish, it was 6 minutes of nothing while the actual "fix" video was two minutes?

  • is there a permanent fix for 0102

  • I thought u farted

  • i tried this, but for like 5 minutes instead of the 20 and its working pretty good for me today. how long did it last for you?

  • And how long it's working after that???

  • hes baking the xbox 360. That can fry up your system and can last for only so long. After a while it stops working and your whole system gets fucked...

  • so when you put back appart do you leave fan their

  • This is actually a very risky way to do it. First of all the electronics can only withstand about 200 degrees when powered on so this has high potential to fry the gpu. Also the gpu only can reach about 300 degrees with this method but the solder for the gpu melts at 450 degrees. Basically your warping the board just enough for the beads to reconnect. The right way to do it is to use a heat gun (20$ at the hardware store)

  • I owe you an xbox pro now!!!

  • @buskirkd i made this to, and still now it only crashed one time, so after 4 days.

Man i need a new one, go shit some money for me xD

  • Well it didn't.

After I put the covers back on, the console turned on fine, but after like three mins the picture got frozen. After boot I see three red lights again. At least in this case it looks like the fix works as long as the console can breath freely.

    Gonna try X-Clamp Fix next.

  • It really works! Even after several boots. I have elite with hdmi so the console auto turned off like 7min after the begining overheating process. I think it's somekind of overhearting protection function (ironic). Then I put fans back in place and turned the console on. Like nothing ever happened.

Thanks dude! I hope this fix will last as long as yours.
