@lvpeckerwood um yes and no. he was born with spina bifida occulta the travel conditions of country musicians at that time worsened a condition he was born with.

I haven't seen these Record Covers for a long time, where did you find them, Luke the Drifter was for his Spritual Songs.
I still have mine from when the were new. My wife bought his Records when I was in Korea. Thank You for bringing back the old memories.

his talent led to his back pain (playing a 20lb.guitar ALL night)which led to his addiction to pain killers which led to him writing songs that could never be undone.I know the story and live the life ,thanks

@lvpeckerwood Hank Williams had a severe problem with back pain which led to his addiction to pain killers. That doesn't take anything away from his talent for writing songs which will never be outdone.
