36 weeks pregnant

(Group B Strep) is a bacteria that many people have in their intestinal tract. It is harmless to adult, but baby can get it during labor. & may cause stillbirth and serious infections. Its not a sexually transmitted infection bcuz its bacteria you carry in your own gastrointestinal tract.
If tested and result are positive for group B you receive treatment with antibiotics during labor which will reduce your baby's risk of becoming infected.
