I haven't really made any vlogs dealing with my illness at all, and i do get a lot of the same questions, so i thought i'd make this video to perhaps answer some of them. Feel free to make a comment and ask me if there's anything i've left out, or you just want to know something.

Please understand that schizophrenia can manifest in hundreds of different ways, and mine is just one.

I've only been diagnosed for a couple months, which is when i got admitted to the hospital, and i've only really started understanding all this myself, so sorry if there's anything confusing in here.

  • You're very good looking :)

  • Thanks for posting this video, it's really helpful. It's also good because it shows that schizophrenia isn't just about people acting weird all the time, there are different severities & different people may experience different symptoms. I hope you get the help you need & get well soon. I wish you a long & happy life.

  • He doesn't sound like a schizo - more like a high functioning autistic... Not that I'm an expert or anything :/

  • your so brave talking about this on here, can't imagine how hard it must be

and its kind of irrelevant but your reaaaally attractive

hope you manage to keep things under control

  • thank you so much for this video. you're brave for talking about it.

  • yea i had that propblem alot when the symptoms mimc people in your family i had that bad with my symptoms imitating my sisters voice and characteristics down to a T sometimes positive commentary is made and other times Cruel things wich made me Angry at

my sister IM good now though Knowing how the visual and auditory symptoms work helps I also had those build up and crash moments too but the more you learn about you and your symptoms the less of a problem it becomes and you become sound minded

  • Thank you for talking about this and showing people that schizophrenia has a wide display of symptoms.

I'm one of the lucky ones - when I hear voices I *know* I'm hallucinating and I need to adjust my meds. My friend isn't so lucky; she hallucinates daily and needs reality checks. Keeping up on your meds and sleep can help some people a lot.

Good luck managing your illness. Sounds like you've got a good support system in place.

  • Have you explored Aspergers/high functioning autism? Just a thought. :)

  • I'm glad I watched this as it has really given me a little more insight on the inner mind of a schizophrenic. Your right the symptoms do vary and I think it varies with each personality. Both my parents had schizophrenia I don't suffer from any mental disorder, well not that I know of haha. I never really knew them and always wanted to have known them so I'm doing research on the mental disorder of schizophrenia, so thanks for the video :)

  • thanks for sharing!!!i ´m a psychoanalyst from brazil and have a lot of videos about several illness, it´s very good you are talking and helping people
