A haughty Stacey accuses Frankie of being a constant reminder to Cass of how rotten he feels about Nicole being Jason's killer, whether Frankie intends that to be the case or not. Frankie fires back that maybe Stacey resents Frankie for doing her job a little too well, since Frankie did turn up a very inconvenient killer. Stacey says no, that's not it. The truth had to come out, no matter how much pain it caused. But now that the truth is out, Stacey doesn't want Cass to suffer any more than he has to. Frankie says she doesn't want that either. Stacey suggests that Frankie show a little more sensitivity and discretion, and tells her to leave Cass alone and give him a chance to get himself together. Frankie sarcastically tells Stacey to excuse her for not showing her sympathy in the correct way. She'll run out right now and buy a book of etiquette. Then Frankie storms out of the office, slamming the door behind her.
