NACHRI, The Children's Health Fund and AAP Rally in Support of Children's Issues in Health Reform

The Children's Health Fund, The National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions and the American Academy of Pediatrics staged a rally and media event on the U.S. Capitol West Lawn on Sept 16 to support childrens issues in the health care reform debate. Speakers included Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D- CA), Childrens Health Fund Co-Founders Irwin Redlener and Paul Simon, NACHRI / N.A.C.H President Lawrence A. McAndrews, AAP President Dr. David Tayloe and TV personality Jane Pauley. Here are excerpts from that event.
