  • the jesuits are just a bunch of cursed reprobates, children of the devil

  • @dieselcowboy777 spoken like Jesuit. Just like you, I'm sure they felt they were right for whatever reason. However their actions were certainly detrimental to the Iroquois.

  • Unfortunately I believe this museum is more about the Catholic Jesuits than the Wendat. It makes my ancestors, the Wendat look like we have no history and that Catholic Jesuits are the ones who have history.

  • @queerfish1 Please tell me about the Wendat. As a life long resident of the area, I have never heard their story. I know about the Onondagas, the Oneidas, The Mohawks, the parts of the Iroquois Nation in this region but not the Wendats- where did they live ? Were they part of the Haudenosaunee and did they figure into the history of Ste. Marie on Onondaga Lake? Please reply and I will include your info if it relates. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Kit Cali

  • I have been to this museum, and its very cool.

You won't believe it is run by volunteers when you see how much they do there. Syracuse and Liverpool are lucky to have it!

  • Thanks - I'd like to film enactments next year with interviews and some oral history. If you are involved with the museum would you contact me. Kit Cali

  • @comedian618 as usual i am never disappointed in my expectation that religious people will name call & put down ANY talk of reality which exposes religious criminal acts -above the law because church is rich by stealing native matriarchy lands of mothers & children world wide-btw church missions were used routinely to smuggle in opium in queen victorias & other times-ALL religions make their riches by pimping women into marriage (sex &birthing slavery )-they destroy matriarchies& traffick kids

  • @caliclips You shot a ton of footage at that place! You don't know the phone number? How did youtube ever let you on here?!?

  • @caliclips Excuse me! What actions taken by the Jesuits were detrimental to the Haudenosuane? Be specific, because the Tadodaho at that time praised the Jesuits for coming after he invited them to! Maybe you shoul stay off of youtube until you decide to learn something about history you idiot! You are clearly an ignorant liberal who HATES Catholics! How Christian of you.

  • @caliclips the Wendat aka Huron resident in Ontario in the Midland area. Wendat, I believe is "people of the peninsula". Huron is the French name which is said to mean "wild boar" becasue the hair style of the Wendat resembled the head of the wild boar. The Wendat, like most First Nations, only have an oral tradition. At Sainte-Marie among the Huron in Midland, there is a council office at the entrance to the site and throught the year have many events on the site.

  • the jesuits have always had a sick perverted idea of salvation and will all burn in hell

  • @caliclips send me a private message please. I can give out information that way. thank you.
