Real-time, CUDA computed, ray tracing and photon mapping engine. Engine uses two novel techniques called "photon flipping" and "invalidity photons".
"Photon flipping" significantly reduces the number of ray collision tests required for scattering direct/shadow photons. "Invalidity photons" significantly speedup the direct/shadow photon gathering stage and .
Photon storing was implemented using sortless spatial hashing -- O(n) photon lookup time, no photon storing nor kd-tree building required.
