John Paul I was not crowned and never had a coronation. He was the first pope to abandon this practice. His successors, John Paul II and Benedict xvi, have also refused to be crowned.

Aside from John XXIII the greatest pope in the 20th century.
He would have done so much if he had not been killed.

John Paul I was an angel on earth. What a shame he was probably killed. He was going to expell the mafia from the Vatican Bank and reveal the 3rd Secret of Fatima ...he wanted to bring the catholic church to its original humility and poverty...He is unforgettable,and so sad few people remember him...but in many hearts he will always be alive. He was the best Pope ever.
