@Bassection HAHAA blink 182 <3, cant go wrong there. Thanks for the info though, you play pretty good though man! Also, what would be a good starting bass? I'm kinda picky with quality, even for starting instruments. My price i would pay is 200-350, tops 400
@McRgaara Played bass for around 3 years now; guitar just a few months, and only on and off as well so I'm not too good with it.
Easy places to start are just with general Pop-punk and Pop-rock bands, like Green Day and Blink 182. I'd recommend starting with fingers as well, as it's the hardest to get used to, but becomes more natural after a bit of practice.
@Bassection Ahh nice!!! My fingers are too slow and clumsy for versailles, but someday(?) How long have you been playing guitar and bass? And what is a good place for me to start with bass?
@McRgaara I can't honestly say I've ever tried playing any of Versailles songs, they've all got pretty complex basslines though, so I might set it as a challenge for myself at some point.
@Bassection Haha that was my first song I've heard by them. Still love it, still love them for a matter of fact. I haven't kept up on other bands much though, just sadie and versailles philharmonic quintet. So i have never heard of 9Goats Black Out. Can you play any of versailles songs though?

@McRgaara Squier's always a good choice for that price, I'd personally go for an Active Jazz bass.
I've not tried Warwick's lower end stuff, so I can't comment on that.

@McRgaara Ah, Sadie.
The only song I've really heard of theirs is Meisai, which is an awesome song.
I'm thinking of possibly covering some VK songs; I can play quite a few songs by '9Goats Black Out' so we'll see.
