This is our first attempt at light animation and light graffiti. We hope to do more of this sort of animation in the future.

  • @notcomputable The trick is to do it in a semi lit setting and over the time of the exposure it will show up almost fully lit. Or like in my Vid (check channel) I drew in the complete dark, then turned on my kitchen lights to get the background in there.. For outdoors sometimes people will draw in darkness then flash the surroundings with an external flash or a bright flash/spotlight.

  • Ok.. that whole video was insane! But I especially loved :42 the guys head over the bridge! Check out my new Light Stop animation and please tell me what you think! Thumbs up for you sirs and lady!

  • hi mate, nice vid..

how do you make the pictures made in lighted areas? I have a task for school and I would like to express it with light graffiti.. so I have this one question.

Also, is it possible to make a real animation with light? Like if you are filming and drawing with the lightsource at the same time so that the light stays captured in the frame..

  • @CrsnCheez set the exposure to 30 seconds, should be plenty time to get around

  • what were the setting on the camera to make the shot long enough like the playground scene

  • BEEEEEEEEEEEST VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEEN!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :))))

  • What camera did you use and settings to b able to get a result like this ? i use the 30 second shutter speed but it doent have a function to keep the shutter open and even if it did the light let in would b to bright and al id end up with is a white screen in the end

  • Simply beautiful and very inspiring for even an old man like me...I will simply have to learn how to do this.

    Stay true to your art,
