House Rabbit Network rescues 2 abandoned bunnies

Volunteers from the House Rabbit Network rescued two baby bunnies that had been abandoned in a suburban yard. These poor things are only about 9-10 weeks old! Releasing domestic rabbits is illegal (to say nothing of reprehensible) - when left outdoors to fend for themselves, they are usually killed by predators or hit by cars within 48 hours; those that survive longer suffer disease, parasites and starvation. These sweet little bunnies were lucky that a kind neighbor cared and contacted us! They'll be spayed or neutered and put up for adoption as soon as they're old enough. ADOPT, DON'T BUY!
