@BrianPicchi The C64 did have sound, but you had to choose between that or music (which it referred to for some reason as "Aural Ambiance." Can't remember what sound only was named.)
Very nice comparison! The c64 had the best sound for sure (although no actual sound effects for some reason). I have the Apple II version (which is only remotely playable if you speed up the CPU 2 or 3 times more. The NES version looks decent too.
@emesde Graphically the ports from Spectrum to MSX used to be identical, wasting the superior capabilities of the MSX of course, but the main and worst difference in all those ports was the gameplay. Usually the gameplay was quite slower on MSX version cause the didn´t care to make a good port and Robocop has the same issue: a very slow gameplay compared to the Speccy version.
THe msx version looks like one of the many games ported from spectrum to msx. Which was easy todo because they share the same processor (Z80). These ports are famous for there low quality graphics
