How do you like the LR Baggs pickup? Doubting between this one and the AER or Fishman versions with the same setup (piezo / mic). Not very fond of piezo but some actually sound pretty natural. How is the LR Baggs in that department?
@netoolv hi Patrick.. beautiful translation of John Mayer's Gravity. The sound of the LR Baggs aren't that great on this recording. The iBeam is hard to use in a live environment > feedback ;-) But I guess that's with all mic's placed in a guitar.. Later on I used to cover the sound hole.. being able to use more of the iBeam giving the sound more bottom end. I'm recording some stuff now using a mix of say 40% Element (Piezo) and 60% iBeam (mic) which sounds really good.. using the BBE.
