2 complaints to and with YouTube

YouTube is planning to "upgrade" all channels to a design that they claim is new and improved. When really, it's the exact oppisite. While yes it is new, it's certainly NOT improved. To compare the two designs, You can visit my channel which has the old design, and visit JTMitchell87's channel which has the new channel design. It's like 50/50 with this thing. Half of us like it, and half of us don't. On July 14, 2009, the people who don't like the new channel design joined a YouTube Blackout where we didn't sign in for a full day to protest the new channel design the day before it was supposed to go out. YouTube is not giving us the choice as to weather or not we want to switch. If you'd like more information as to why half of us don't like it, you can type in beta channel design, and you'll see some videos as to why half of us don't like it and any other questions you may have. The quality of this video is a little better than I thought it would be. You actually can see my face. But compered to some other videos, the sound quality probably leaves a lot to be desired. Also, the person who I said had not responded back to my question yet, has. I made this video before I heard back from her. I'm sorry for the negitivity in this video guys. I just feel really strongly about those 2 things and I felt like I needed to speak my mind about them. Now hopefully, YouTube won't sue me. Heh heh heh heh heh. But seriusly, if you were able to tolarate the negitivity, and took the time to listen to it, I both thank you, and commend you. And hopefully the operaters of YouTube will at least listen to the complaints I made if not try to do something to solve those 2 problems. Hopefully, my next video will have better picture and sound quality, and will hopefully be a lot more positive.

You are wrong about one thing. It's not 50/50. It's more like "Hate/Like = 98/02, or at best 95/05. I'm serious. I had a hard time finding anyone that liked the new design, and of those few I didn't find anyone that was like "Yea YouTube!! Please force this down everyone elses throat."

The new design simply does not work if you are using IE6. I had to upgrade to IE8 so I could even use it.

Plus I just learned how to make backgrounds for the old channels.

I could go all day ....
