You don't have to stick your head outside the bubble or get back to basics,,,just allow the fiat dollar to go super nova and blow in devaluation...Fed is losing control as we speak. What was good and worked for us from 1830 until today,,,is now over with. Less workers required due to automation, too few dollars chasing products, economic engine continutes to cascade downward. Solution simple...attach metals back on the dollar..and to all world currencies; and so it shall be done.

Very good points about how complicated our economies have become globally. How do we simplify trade? We could get rid of tons of waste, ad billboards, junk mail, magazines, newspapers, etc., but we also get rid of tons of jobs doing so. I still favor a change where transition is smooth and not so disruptive. But let's face it, Hummers gotta go byebye.

@EasternMerchant Those eco-villages will be the supplier of food and sustenance for all of humanity.

They should eliminate the employee wage system and mandate that all business adopt a co-op system where everyone is equally considered and that all profits will be distributed in each company based on the amount of lifetime work invested in the company. Poor performing people should be joined with like-minded people and provided ample real estate to form rural self-sustaining eco-villages so they can still prosper in a non-competitive environment.

Trade will allow room for deception because resources are not found equally around the world like for example, water.

In which case some may attempt to gain "leverage" and "control" because geographically they have access to a "more valuble" resource pertaining to "survival" of the individual.

Thus for an equal money system ALL resources must be made available for all and purchased with a 1 common currency

thus resource to resource trade has more room to allow the greed of man to influence.
