  • i got a i5 750.

it cant be binned with the i5 6xx ones cos they are dual core rather than quad. does that mean it is actually a i7 8xx series just with hyper threading forced off, or would it just mean i5 750 binning was just between i5 750 and i5 750S, and the rest garbage?

  • @Splooshiba i5 750 is identical in production process to i7 860, i7 870, and i7 875K.

    Just different bins.

  • Nice... but I prefered the old set, lol. Felt more personal.

This set makes it feel like a wall in a warehouse... which it just might be, lol.

They should have just given him a decent sized sign that he could set up anywhere he chooses to do the tips... rather then a large wall.

  • @wangsishuo speeds aren't everything six cores = 12 threads with i7's which is much better than 8threads

  • @NCIXcom What's the i5-2400 identical too?

  • I am in bin B :( but is cool cuz i can run every single game out there thanks gtx 460

  • I think Linus needs to memorize my nickname. Cuz I'm big fan of he.

  • I'm really enlightened by this!

  • @NCIXcom damn a 900 dollar mic !

  • Very interesting.

    Thanks.

  • It's called price discrimination when manufacturer ripping off those enthuists who are willing to pay a premium and still get profit by selling cheap to the majority of other consumers. But basically the get the same thing example like the hexcore i7 980 cant even beat the overclocked i7 2600k but its priced over $1000 while 2600k only cost$300
