@monkeyonatable Yes, because if you drop it the it can make the train come off the track or it can hit somebody.

@benzo41190 The ride was stopped because someone seatbelt was unbuckled dumbass. And Cedar Point wants you to be safe because if you have your cell phone or camara and if you drop it the train can come off the track.

@greatplanesman the ride is stopped by a ride op that saw the person unbuckle their seat. there are not triggers in the seat belt mechanism

That's why I like Six Flags, they wont make a lift stop for this....they will just call security and have them meet you at the exit.

A testament to ride safety. Even unbuckling your restraints belt will trigger e-stop.

omg i think i was there that day because i heard the same thing. i was on the train right before it . it was the most painful rollercoaster i have ever been on

I could understand for the smaller rides (I have taken mine on Blazing Fury, but that is more of a indoor ride than a coaster), but I agree people who take them on MF are crazy. Better them than me
