  • Wow! What TV show is this from? It looks as though they had a party in the studio as they recorded the single!

  • @stereoears1 It's from "Playboy After Dark".

  • this song rocks, it is one of those songs i can listen over and over, and wish it never ends, the guy is sooooooo, hot, sideburns and all, who cares, he is so charming.

  • hey, at 1:44, it's Howard Stern! Lol. And Hugh Hefner is one crappy dancer! Great song, though.

  • They kicked ASS

  • I see Barbi Benton in the mix but where is Hef?! Oh wait, there he is turning around at the very end. Just didn't recognize him as a young swinger without the lounge lizard smoking jacket... and those Tejanos! Rock on Doug Sahm!

  • This is so prescient of their later music -- both the tejano influence of Freddy Fender.... Third Rate Romance ...and then later when they were Texas Tornadoes.... good sounds all.

  • Juniors in High school, Westchester county NY, sitting in the local coffee shop eating burgers, we knew we had to get there. Hitchhiked to San Francisco, then on up to Mendicino. A beautiful town on the Pacific cliffs.Beautiful people, Would love to be able to transport back in time to that magic place. Such a GROOVE!

  • @donnaranville It is by far the best song Sir Douglas and Four ever did yet you never hear it on the radio any more. All they ever play is She's About A Mover.

  • You are not going to believe it but i did have sideburns like him in 1970 and also wore a cowboy hat. Here in California you were considered a hippie back then. What the heck we were just 18 and nobody gave a dern. Pass the weed on top of the flat area of the beer can. Remember fellas, poke holes and let it ride.

  • 1:41-1:42

  • @fffreddie That's axactly my thoughts my friend, he is a dead ringer for the man that preaches the word for many and inspires the few. Enjoy this music of the 60's that will never come back. different than this rap crap we have today. Disco anyone?

  • @joaquinmurrieta1850 Man that is the Reverand Jackson. So that's where Carlton Banks got his moves from.
