VW Golf IV 1,6 FSi 116 CP 0-100 kmph in 10,5 seconds

VW Golf IV end 2002 3 doors, manual transimision 5 gears, stock,(arround 1250 kg) 1,6 FSi 116 CP 0-100 kmph (0-60 mph) in 10,5 seconds. It seems a little too much time from what I expected from this engine wich has prooven that it isn´t so special after all. Too noisy at low revs, but sounds preety great at high revs, fuel consumption is normal, brutal accelerations are not so bright. Also, for a normal user it is enough. Gear leaver is briliant, short and precise shifts, sporty, I might say. Fuel injection is limited at 6250 rpm, wich is a backdraw in my oppinion. 7000 rpm would have been much better (since the gears are too distanced for my taste-from 1st 6000 rpm to 2nd 4000 rpm, when the engine is not so "alive"). Stability is below average!!! Check out the fuel consumption on the board computer :D Awesome! Enjoy!

@heldgop No i have a manual as well.On the speedo mine does 210-215 as well but i was talking about GPS speed.The speedo isnt very exact on the topspeed.

How fast does your car go? I´ve got a 1,6 FSI too and my topspeed is pretty much exactly 200 km/h maybe 215 downhill :) I think thats very good for a 110HP car.
