David Smith may have been a scally and a tearaway but without him going to the Police Hindley and Brady may never have been caught. If Smith hadn't told the police about the suitcases with the tapes and photos of poor little Leslie, Brady would have done maybe 10 years for Evans but Hindley would have walked free!
Good on you David (and Maureen too) .... without you more poor little kids may have been buried on the moors..

He is a real hero, brave and possably saved more lives. He got a lot of stick and shame on the people who gave it to him. I have his book and going to read it
