This is a demo take of a song I call Life Without Emoticons. Recorded on a Zoom R16 mtr with a Les Paul and a Rode M3 microphone. Bass was a shortscale p-bass copy. Synth was my ancient MC-303. Mixing was in Reaper DAW.

Video was shot with a humble Kodak Zi8 and edited in Magix Movie Edit Pro and AVS4U suites.

The Jenga shots came out OK I think!

The loop behind me was from http://www.motionshare.com/

The mixing desk and bulb video clips were taken from a Vimeo Creative Commons group.

  • @mean0machine0 Thanks man, you really encourage me. Yeah I like Reaper a lot -- so much that I actually bought it! I've got SO much to learn to learn though. Make sure you add some mastering plug ins (free) they make a big difference.
