why are they wearing the same trousers? Well, not the same pair at the same time, obviously. But, each a clone of the other. An odd sort of coincidence, surely, seeing that neither pair of these aforementioned trousers compliment the clothed upper half of either comedian.

Wow, 20 years ago now.
I love Hugh sneaking in that bit when Stephen's being godfather is mentioned: "... the rationalist-father..." I suppose that's a good enough term for an atheist godfather.

Do you mean what Stephen meant by "We're not joined at the hip..?"
If so, he means that he and Hugh don't always do everything together. They also do things separately. So they can actually part from each other for a bit for different projects.

Cute, sweet, adorable, that's all about Stephen Fry. What a lovely smile he has. I love how they embarrass each other. Hugh is much more confident when Stephen is near him.
