The reversible clip on the AA model makes it great for a hat light. That's one thing I like about it over the Fenix LD10. I have a Fenix LD20 and an LDO1 which I really like. I was able to reverse the clip on the LDO1 for use as a hat light though.

The rubber grip is for when you are holding a rifle, the flashlight points at your target as you cradle the fore-stock and take aim.

@IsaacBickerstaffEsq It's a common problem, Southamericans only destroy Spanish, maybe because they can't pronounce some words correctly and don´t have a clue how to write them.

It looks like the rubber grip on the small Quark could be used on a bike handlebar
for a night light if it stretches enough.

I don't think the packaging is too fancy. That type of packaging is very common for video games and is not that expensive in mass production. I read they are selling them in "green" packaging now, you get all the stuff inside a plain plastic bag.

CR123 Availability is not a problem, the price is @ R45 a battery.
I got plenty of flashlights, but I need a good and powerful 2AA. Wich would you pick up if you only could have one, Fenix LD20 (R5 version) or the Quark AA2?

@newhuskytwenty I would pick the Quark AA^2. In fact, I gave away my LD20 but I still have the Quark AA^2..
