  • I notice the magnets are attached outside of the tablet, where in the demo video's the manget(s) appear(s) to be on the inside of the tablet.

Or perhaps I did not pay close enough attention to the demo videos.

  • @xPaddy0524x They are outside.

  • So the magnets are not already built in? aw

  • magnets can be trouble for HDD harddrives, but also creditcards, or worse, ICD and Pacemakers. thats why i guess there are optional

  • @nlmaxx There is no moving part inside the Touch Book. So there is no problem with magnets.

  • @BopNiblets Correct.

  • i know right? i thought it did too and i was like woah. but now i'm just like wtf cause the processor is slow as hell and the magnet isn't built in either? i'm disappointed.

  • There's no special friendly kind of magnetism. The point of the design is that the magnets aren't built into the backpanel of the screen. So you can remove them before putting the computer into a bag with your cards.

  • There is something on their website about using some special magnetism so it won't mess up your credit cards in your bag. I don't know if that is legitimate/possible or not.
