New York City Fire Department. Engine 33 and Tower Ladder 9 respond out of the Bowery "U" Fire Station in the East Village while Ladder 20 quickly follows. On Scene we have Engine 5 and Battalion 6. Great air horns on TL 9.

  • @MarcelPichault 100 ft

  • I want a horn like this!!!!!

  • @turbolaser92 Ok, I'm quite surprised, I really thought they were way higher than french ladders! In Paris, the "small" ladders are 82' high, the "aerial ladders" are 104' high. Are there other types of terrestrial vehicle for great height interventions? We have trucks we call "BEA" (Articulated Elevator Arm) which goes up to 177 feet for the higher of them. Usually they're 137'.

  • @MarcelPichault 75ft aerialscope, the tiller and other straight sticks are 100ft

  • Im surprized to see that some stations in the FDNY are still using the Ford Excursion
