Tree frogs have very sensitive skin (unfortunately most pet shops don't advise their buyers of this). This frog is indicating distress with this particular barking type call. I'm sure the owner doesn't realize it - not meaning to be preachy, but hopefully this may stop others from doing this to their frogs. Frogs are awesome little creatures and quite beautiful
