The few images I could get of the Sardine Run in South Africa. Dolphins attack a sardine school while sharks swim around.

  • Oh yes, it is worth waiting every second. Having the resources I would spend there a lot of time. When we were not seeing the bait balls we swam with a lot of dolphins, common and bottlenose, and they are not afraid of us there. It was very beautiful.

  • Amazing film.

How does that work? You go snokling or scuba diving? Is it easy to find them?

  • Well, you can do it either way. There is a lot of action right in the surface. It is amazing . Most of what you saw here I did it in scuba. It might not be easy to find the hunting nevertheless. I was there 9 days and I got all this the last day! It is a matter of luck and perseverance. When it happens it can be seen easily from afar, it is a maelstrom of wildlife, birds raining like falling angels, water boiling with predators and pray. THey use ultralights thoug to spot the bait balls.

  • cute lil sardines
