@reyyn Sydney actually had one of the world's largest tram networks from the 1870s until 1961, much bigger than Melbourne's network is today. But bad planning and decision making on the part of politicians meant they stopped the service and dismantled the network. Now more than 40 years later they realised the error of their ways and they have installed a small, privately operated modern tram network. It's not very big, but they have talked about expanding it.

SMALL! One line from Central Train Station to the suburb of Lilyfield (10km). There are plans to extend it through the city though.

I didn'y know that tere are streetcars/trams in Sydney. How big is tram network in Sydney??
