@Triipticz She was using the voices she created for each character. I believe all the characters were black. Whoopi speaks perfect english in real life, she would use whatever voice completes the character image.

@420kushSTONER4life No she wasn't coming off drugs. she created each one of these characters, it was shown on stage like a play. I believe this was her first "one man show", it was also the first time I saw her, and the first time I even heard her name. I was so impressed I have followed Whoopi' career ever since, 20 years or more. PS Nobody going thru drug withdrawals would ever be able to create and produce this concert.
