Nick is talking about a new form of electronica called Dubstep and its significance to our social identity, comparing it's newness and potential to acid house at the beginning of the 90s.
Part of my 3rd year uni project to try and capture the thoughts and feelings of My Generation at the beginning of the millennium.

  • wat video program u use?

  • mate i am really mashed and this video has just done me over, well done!

  • I don't care if it isn't the next big thing! I have always liked heavy bass, and have only recently discovered the 'dubstep' movement, but I would still like it if everyone else didn't. I don't produce my own beats but I'm keen to learn how, not sure if I would be a good dubstep producer though. I think that is what it is about, doing the music you like and not what you hope will be popular. I don't think many of my friends have even heard of dubstep.

  • true. and cool fx.

  • Fair play bro

    Big ups

  • blah blah etc. do us a favour and shut up and let the blinkin music do the talking.

  • About in the same boat as ya'...been producin' dnb/jungle/breaks...now i'm startin' to produce dubstep...it's as addictive to me as dnb was when i first heard it yeeeears back,heh...pz & respect to ya..

  • the video good point, i'm a dnb producer and have been for a while, but since the dub-step rush, i can't help but get drawn to it, thinking this is the next big thing. regardless if it is or not, i'm putting in the workload in to build scene, lets just hope more people will too.
