I was at that show it was awful, tmv played great and was a great show to watch but all the dumb fucking soad fans would not shut the fuck up or stop shouting SYSTEM during the mars voltas performance. systems not bad but i really wish their fan base in general werent such fucking idiots

Lol Just because there better at playing there insturments doesent make there music better, system of a down is talented in a different way, they actually have catchy toons that will live on, mars volta cant ever compete with that.

@TMLC1 System is fine, but they are not half as talented as The Mars Volta technically or sonically. Nu-Metal like System was an extension of metal meant to simplify. The Mars Volta works on so many levels that System doesn't because System is just trying to get their stuff out there for mass consumption. TMV is working to further their previous works and go farther creatively than they did before. I like both bands, but their goals are different. Hate isn't necessary.

If you are not joking then you are highly deranged, the mars volta could play circles around system of a down, and then laugh! You cant compare the drumming, the guitar, or the vocals... and I know alot of people who hate the volta because of his voice. You need to expand your musical vocabulary my little friend!

@hxzxxl I can't agree with you more. Music concerts should be about expressing yourself the way you want to. So if he wants to hate on moshing, it's probably because he is too narrow minded to actually appreciate it. And I don't know what kind of moshing the other people are talking about, but if you go to a hardcore show, for example Stick To Your Guns or Terror, the only moshing that goes on isn't near people and they aren't trying to hurt others. Just release anger and express themselves.
