wow lol good deal for a buck! :-) I just harvested a bunch of potatoes and I was looking for information on whether or not freezing potatoes would work.
Looks like it will! I have a foodsaver too!
Thanks for posting this video it was very helpful!

GREAT BUY! Way to go! Lots of meals there.
Walmart sells a little manual hand slicer mandolin that slices veggies like this in a jiff. I don't use my electronic slicer as much as I used to with this little manual slicer. Cleans up with spray of water. The slicer also comes with a few different heads that you can snap interchange to get julienne fries, etc.
Great vid. 5*****.
Did you let them dry before sealing them?

I did - sorry didn't show in video. Right before bagging them, I spread them out on paper towels to drain and I pat them down with additional paper towels. They weren't very dry, but they weren't dripping any water.

I am sure you know this, but you can also dehydrate them and pack em to store for about 25 years or more. Great vid and great job as usual! :)

Thanks. I have dehydrated and still do dehydrate potatoes. For this bag I decided to freeze since we will go thru it fairly quickly.
