  • I loved this game when I was little. One thing I remember from the manual is that you can have anywhere from 2 to 4 health. I never could find the 2nd hidden one. As for the gun problem, max it out on the first zone. It will take some time but the tri needle gun is the bomb. Power-ups are nice potions and invis-potions make the bosses easy. The last stage is a punk. I'll give you that.

  • @ReloadXPsi People have every right to bitch about this game, especially the Nerd. No continues nor passwords, bullshit weaponry that requires a turbo button, map layout that makes weapons useless, slow movement that gets slower after taking hits and can't be restored, infinitely spawning frogs (frogs of all things) that drive you forever backwards while shooting fire at you, and a dick-ton of other crap. No manual could help you with these problems. I can't believe you're defending this game.

  • you can buy fester's quest for 2$ at lukiegames

  • You're supposed to use TNT on the multiplying enemies. I'm pretty sure that was in the instruction manual.

It annoys me when people bitch about twenty year-old games they probably paid like two **insert currency here** on account of it having no box or manual so they don't bother checking up on anything. Don't forget that in the NES days you did kinda have to read manuals for new games. You know, in the back of the car while you drove home with your new game. Honestly people :P

  • @WrathofVishnu And the PAL version. He lampshades this oversight in the Dragon's Lair review :P

  • My dad was awesome at this game. I watched him beat it a bunch of times.

  • Oh yeah, and the "A" box? Thing is supposed to pop up with a hint. The kitchen's Thing box is glitchy.

  • The Addams Family for Genesis - best... fuckin'... Genesis game. EVER.

  • @Capitanvolume He must have known the game was bad. :p

  • haha the song a the end is awesome
