@TJtheBest9 the original ones ARE the link kuei he commands,after he stopped sektor (which killed his father,the grandmaster for leadership) he took over the clan,turning them from mindless assassins to a force of good,after that sektor got his panties in a knot and fled to japan to form the tekunin,his own cyber ninja clan.

@DrTranReincarnated Not all of them, but many of them. This is where Sektor took over and formed the "Tekunin" his own evil faction of cyber ninjas. Sub-Zero takes over Lin Kuei

@DrTranReincarnated in the original timeline the Lin Kuei was eventually dissolved and all the cyborgs went under the command of Sektor in a clan called the Tekunin. Sub-Zero eventually gained the Dragon Medallion used by the original Lin Kuei Grandmaster to enhance his powers and used it to re-establish the Lin Kuei under his rule.

Thats the confusing world of MK ... I always wanted to know the whole background Storys and all that stuff ... But after all ... everything doesnt make sense ... I like the whole ideas but for some reason they are not able to stick with one story line.  My only idea to ur question would be that sub zero created his own Lin Kuei ice clan after he left the original ones ...
