Halo Movie Update: Will it ever get made?

Does the Halo Movie still have interest? We have the details right now.

Hi everyone, welcome back to Clevver Movies. I'm your host, Amanda Janner.

The Halo franchise is popular among fans, but is Microsoft still interested in making the movie? Reports say scripts for the film are still in development, and there's still interest in getting Halo in theaters. Franchise Development Director Frank O'Connor was quoted in Variety, telling fans "We've created an awful lot of documentation and materials to support a feature film. We have a good idea of what kind of story we want to tell, but won't move on it until there's a great reason to do it. We're in no particular hurry."

In addition to the big screen, Microsoft has its eye on the small screen for a potential Halo TV series. So will we ever see a Halo movie? And how long will it take? Until Microsoft makes a move on that front, you can catch the next game in the franchise, Halo Reach, in stores September 14.

Thumbs up if you think they should remake Halo: The fall of Reach into a game. I mean from the Master Chief's eyes so don't get all pissy and say they already did that. Like take the book and make it into a game instead of shitty Halo 4.

The Original Halo would make a great film in my opinion, it has everything to have far more depth than your average video game film. The fact they're not rushing into it and looking to twin it with the game can surely only be good for the film if it ever does get made.

I can't remember where i heard it from, but about 2 or 3 years ago they said that (I can quote) "be a halo movie released around 2012" and now it's 2012 so you'll never know their could be
