This movie shows my progression over a 7 month period using the prescribed drug Accutane (50mg/day). Luckily, it did not cause any mental side-effects (thoughts of suicide etc.) but it did yield some physical side-effects including dry skin/lips, some aches, dry eyes, bloody nose etc. This is my personal experience and it might be different for others. Highly recommended to anyone suffering from acne if you've tried over the counter products already.. I tried *everything* the pharmacist recommended without luck before accutane. Be patient, stick with it, and before you know it, you'll have clear skin!

i've been on it about one and a half months and im not getting any pimples or cysts anymore
but ive got these red fots from huge cysts i had.. but that takes longer time to heal...
but anyone who has acne GET ACCUTANE! This shit is for real... nothing is going to stop it like this. and it aint gonna come back!

@UphyXx Thanks, that's good to know. I'm on month three now with some noticable improvement. And my dermatologist bumped me up to 40 mg, yay!

I just finished my fourth month and my derm told me I might have to take sixth month ): and I still have active pimples, though I was supposed to be clear by now...

I wish I could get 50 mg. My doctor will only prescribe me 20mg. I've been on it for a month and a quarter and my skin hasn't changed much.
