There are way too many Cockatiels in need of rescue, so I no longer hand raise them. Many of the cockatiels that I have were rescued. A few of them are my hand raised babies that I kept. I witnessed too many cases of abuse, I fear hand raising them and having them end up being neglected and abused. Instead, I have a sanctuary. Thank you for your reply - if you see a bird in need of help, please do what you can to get them into a loving home.
