  • Awesome REVEIW! Thanks! Merry x-mas. I know im a new at oscilloscope, but now i can

go and SPEND my HAPPY dollars on this inspensive GREAT TOOL! I think because

of my knowledge in computers that for this amount of Money These Manufacturer should've

make most of this system now at day TOUCH screen and REAL TIME PC interactive.

Furthermore, I love this Rigol Model you Have because of the simplicity of its FUNCTIONS!

    Thanks man!

  • @ARMODILLOXX33 Great you liked it. With this Rigol scope you really get some value for the money.

The scope works very well in many different situations and it is in the price range of normal USB-only oscilloscope (like a Velleman etc.).

  • When did you buy it? What version of firmware did it come with, at the time you received the scope. BC, I'm considering to buy one of these also, but I heard that you no longer can modify the bandwidth :(

  • @urbandiscipline88 I bought mine at DealExtreme in December 2010. At that time I think it came with 00.02.05.

Then I followed this guide to "hack" it: eevblog . com/forum/index.php ? topic=553.0

  • @mindthomas also, just a note, if you get the new firmware, you can downgrade to the older version, then mod it, then re-upgrade.

  • @thewii552 Yeah, but only up to a certain firmware. Because if you upgrade too high, you might damage the scope!

  • Thenk you for the review. It was very helpful.

  • Is a very good oscillocope by lowest price.

  • @mindthomas yeah...

  • I haven't tested the attenuation on high frequencies.

The max vertical scale is 100V/div, while the input is max 300V RMS

    Minimum is 20mV/div
