Mrs Nancy went on to help her daughter Mrs Sally run the show behind the scenes and she would play Doobee and sometimes play I thin Mrs FEather Flower.

Yes, I too grew up on Romper Room, Davey Crocket, Capt. Kangaroo, etc. Wasn't it Miss Nancy who would sing the "Bend and stretch, reach 4 the Stars, here comes Jupiter here comes Mars." thing? (seriously!)...Wonderful show. Kids shows were simpler in those days.

I was born in 55 but remember the Jack in the box at the start of the show. What I didn't know was that her husband was Bert Claster. Being from Baltimore myself, if memory serves me right it was on WMAR channel 2 tv.
