Very, Very Sad Mini Nelena Story part 1

hey i know i said i would post these last night but when i was typing these up, out of no where my internet shut off, it took me an hour to fix it and when i did,it was ike 10 and youtube was going through the maintance thing...anyways please enjoy and beware it may make you cry its the saddest one out of all 3

I was lying on my bedroom floor the tear marks were dried onto my face, I knew she wasn't going to answer, I knew no matter what I did it was way to late, but I just wanted to hear her voice again.
Selena had been my best friend since sixth grade, the two of us were inseperable. I had told her everything, things I didn't tell anyone else. But there was one thing, that was ten times more important then any other thing I'd ever mentioned. And it was too late now.

I had been had been at a party the night that it happened. We were all playing 20 minutes in heaven, and I stuck my hand into the hat feeling more nervous then ever.
I pulled out a pair of headphones, and Selena stood up and helpd me up with the biggest smile on her face. We walked into the closet slowly as everyone watched us go.I wore my favorite outfit, my black skinny jeans with a coldplay shirt that Selena had given me for my birthday a couple of months ago.
"I love your shirt where did you get it?" Selena asked me smiling her widest.
"oh, well you see, there's this kid and she's the bestest friend I've ever had. She got it for me, doesn't she have good taste?" I said laughing a bit.
"That she does!" she said smiling.
there was an awkward silence between the two of us. I understood why. both of us were alone in a closet standing less then two feet away from each other, in the dark. Everyone outside of the door, had known the two of us were best friends, they were just waiting for a miracle to happen.
"you want to dance?" Selena asked quietly.
"dance? there's no music" I said smiling
"well you picked up my headphones remember?" she said grinning wider now.
"oh right I forgot. Yeah sure i'd love to" I said blushing a little.
Selena took her headphones back and plugged them into her ipod, she slid one of the ear buds into my ear and played the song "My Heart Will Wait" by Joe Brooks.
I pulled her in close, very slowly, as if I was scared to break her. And I put my hand gently on the lower part of her back and with the other hand I grabbed her hand tightly. We moved so slowly, and as the song played along she put her head on my chest, and i laid my cheek on the top of her head. And then she pulled away and began to sing a part of it into my ear softly.
"My Heart will Wait, My heart will wait for you, my heart will wait, my hearts gonna wait for you, always."
I've heard the song before, but i never listened to the lyrics closely, and now Selena was singing them to me, and they had alot of meaning behind them when she said them.
"I whisper goodbye, I swear it's not for the last time.I know it's not easy.It's not meant to be easy." she said as she pulled away from me and faced me straight on now.
"Nick" she said to me taking her hand out of mine and putting it on my face rubbing her thumb gently underneath my eye.
"yeah" I said nervously.
"we need to talk" she said a choking sound comming from her throat.
"is everything okay?" I asked worried.
Selena didn't say a word, she simply just took my hand and brought me outside of the closet. Everyone looked at us shock, but Selena didn't even look at them, she brought me out of the house and fast. Everyone seemed to be going by in slow motion.
When the two us got outside, she started running, and I chased after her the best I could.She slowed up, grabbed my hand and ran along with me. We ran through a couple of trees and we finally ended up in this huge field, with mountains on the other side. In between the mountains was the moon, the biggest I've ever seen it.
"wow" I said out of breath now.
"I know" she said, breathing heavy
she grabbed my hand again, and lead me to the center of the feild, and sat me down next to her.
"Nick?" she said
"Selena"I said quietly.
"your my best friend." she said looking into my eyes.
"your my best friend too" I said tears comming to my eyes, I wanted it to be so much more.
"you know i'd never hurt you right?" she said seriously.
"yeah" I said looking into her eyes.
"what i'm about to say Nick is probably going to hurt you more then you'll ever be hurt" she said with a tear sliding down her cheek.
"it's okay, Selena" I said feeling scared.
"no, it's not okay." she said shaking her head.
"whats wrong" I said tears forming in my eyes.
"you're not going to forgive me" she said looking at the moon.
"you know I will" I said seriously.
"i'm sick, Nick "Selena said after a long pause.
"how sick?" I said tears comming out of my eyes faster now.
