the only annoying thing about his routine is that it never changes. Neither does the song. I have only seen one other video where he is not playing to that music (and it not modified), and it was a news interview!!

I think the point is that he sort of does it to the music?? I see a patterned relationship between speed, stroke and pattern. Not exact, but then I'd suggest try it.
