Magma Master Caster with auto drive (English version)

In this little video I show you my latest project...a full auto Magma Master Caster. With this auto drive it's easy to cast 8 or 10 hours a day without pain. That's the ultimate bullet caster dream and perfect for guys who reload a lot of boolits for there ammo.

Could you share the specifications on this build and where to get all parts and so forth? I would like to modify my magma master caster in this fashion if you care to share?

@helturflippad Well all electric parts are from conrad .de or my local engineer. I can tell you all about the drive and "steel work" but I can't tell you how the sps control is made.

Nice machine Markus! How did you do the electrical part? Such as changing direction of the main motor, time delay when tapping the mould to make sure the bullets come out, shakers control to make them shake, what happens if you press the emergency stop and the regular stop (does the process goes on until the mould is back under the oven), ...

@reteid123 Well these things are controled by an SPS modul. An local engineer build the SPS unit and wrote the program.

Hello.

I am in progress of building a machine like yours. Can you help me with some question? I need to know the torque (Nm) you have on the gear and how fast the gear turns? (without turned down). I mean just when motor runs freely and gear slows it down, how many rpm does the gear produce? A really neat machine :-)

I will build it all myself except the electronics, that I have a friend that will help me with.

@rushymoto I cast 7/8 oz, 1 oz drive key slugs and Sabot slugs but only with my hand molds...Sorry but I can't tell you where to buy a .410 slug mold.
