I absolutely love Gino.  I've been his #1 fan from the beginning. Someone posted an acousic version of Crazy Life but then it was removed. Please, please, put it back on. It was wonderful. Love you Gino!

I agree Gino's voice is much much better, but it's still really cool that Gino gave the kid the chance to sing with him.

Gino's voice has a depth, a richness and a strength that Jason's doesn't have. Jason didn't even get the high notes right in People Gotta Move. Also, Jason tries to reproduce Gino's cadences, etc. Perhaps with time Jason's voice will improve.  The other thing to consider is that the musical arrangements here weren't the best.

LOL - I remember this - I was living and working in Joliette, Quebec and Jason Battah - the contestant - worked as a dentist in Joliette at this time - haha - he sang with Gino - yay - my fave!

Dear god what is this awful show???? No person should be forced to sing with their idol - doing their idol's songs at the same time!!! Gino looks to have been very accommodating but POOR JASON. I'm sure he sounds great on his own, doing his own tunes. This is the most humiliating show I have ever seen! (OK, with the exception of American Idol)!!!!!

Egree, the band sounds like a traditional big band with all heads looking down the charts.

But, Gino... Gino is allways the one - voice - producer of his own label.

This is clearly not Gino's band as it sounds like these guys just learned the song from a chart , and Gino is ALL about production quality . But Gino is always perfect...ALWAYS . This guy never gets old and his voice sounds as fresh as it did in the 70's . Being the perfectionist that he is , I'm sure he's not happy that this video exists . The band should have paid more attention to detail when researching him...especially in the keyboard patches . Very cheesy and karaoke !
