  • I have audio problems, when I plug in my video camera I can play it but when i finish importing and I play it theres no sound so I cant hear it

  • I am not sure. My suggestions: 1. check your iMovie preferences under import to see if there is any option that has caused this. 2. check online (what I found is some Sony video camera doesn't work with iMovie because of its settings).

  • I tried a USB but they don't seem to be working... I switched it to the camera mode that you taught me but the blue screen didn't pop up like yours did... So can you tell me how and what i do? Oh yea how do you post vids (like this) on youtube with Imovie??? Im dieng of curiousity.

  • Did you set your video camera to play mode? It could be the usb cable too. Sorry I can't help without looking at it.

In your Youtube account, you should be able to see a yellow button called "upload". Click that and follow the instructions. Be aware: your file is limited to 10 minutes or 100 MB, which means, after you are done with edition your imovie file, you need to "share" it as a smaller file, something like mp4. There should be some choices like for "web", "email"

    Good luck.

  • omfg this helps like shit!!! thanks so much!!! i wuz wonderin how to import my vid on my video camera on my mac. But one question... I dont have a firewire cable. Only a USB do they work to?

  • I think USB cable works too except that it is slower than firewire cable.
