  • They are showing a video of a variety of mammals while they talk about the explosion of body plans in the Cambrian explosion. The Cambrian explosion created the chordates, a group that would eventually include the tetrapods, which would eventually include the mammals in the illustration. But all that is hundreds of millions of years after the Cambrian Explosion. I find that quite misleading.

  • Hehe, the "explosion" lasted some 12 million years. That's a short period in geology, but it's not exactly "Ka-Boom", is it? Hehe.

  • Does this disqualify you to make such judgment as I doubt you have same qualification if you seek reassurance behind the title!

    Kind regards

  • Funny, I think I'd like to hear from a paleontologist about this, not a guy who's phd is in philosophy and history. Especially when this guy is associated with a study group that promoted religion over science.
