Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green: Getting Rich

This is, as far as I know, the fastest way to get rich in Kanto. It's not really a glitch, Rocket Grunts are just stupid. I didn't discover this trick, but I read about it in Deathborn 688's walkthrough on gamefaqs. This works on VBA and GBA (and also in the original Red, Green and Blue versions), so it's nothing with Gameshark/Codebreaker or something.

I'll explain what I do in the video: first you need a very low leveled pokemon, that would be a pidgey or rattata, but caterpies or weedles are fine too. Catch them at the begin of the game, and then put them away in Bill's pc. Then you need to get rid of most of your money, by buying stuff. That way, you won't loose a lot of money while losing to the Rocket Grunt (You can't loose money you don't have). Then put away all your other pokemon in Bill's pc and bring your bait in your team. Then the fun can begin. Remember you can only do this if you've defeated the Nugget Bridge trainers, but haven't talked to the Grunt yet. So talk to him, and receive your price: a nugget, which you can sell for $5000,-. Great, but then he asks you to join Team Rocket. I know we all want to, but the game doesn't let you. Instead, you battle the Grunt. He'll kill you and your bait quite fast, and you're teleported back to the pokemoncenter. But you do have the nugget he gave you. So go to the Grunt again and loose again. And again. And again. And again. And don't sell your nuggets while doing this, you'll only loose more money.

If anybody knows a better, faster way to earn money, feel free to tell me. But I doubt there's a better way than this one.

In Red, Blue, and Green, this actually doesn't work, because you only have one chance to fight the grunt.
