This is from 1992 right? I wonder how they are doing now, if they are alive.

Our brain is absolutly fascinating
-
the only cases they present have sexual abuse included, that can mislead people into thinking that if they have not been sexually abused, their Multiple Personality disorder is fake.

If that was me I would run to God, get saved and baptized and have the church lay hands on me. I would be so scared and very desperate to get to the bottom of it and I am already a Christian so I would run to a church and see if prayer of a church could help. Some may turn to doctors but I would turn to a Holy man of God to help me. I would be thinking I was possessed by something evil.

@jamesarongray It is a long process. Not everybody wants their others to integrate.
-
@PoMircheva No memory loss is not always apart of it. Some have full awareness of what the others are doing.

@drcanoro No it can be physical abuse, or other torture. It does not have to be sexual abuse.
Today it is called D.I.D. Dissociative Identity Disorder and is recognized by the DSM IV

Just finished watching this. This documentary was fascinating! However, my heart goes out to all who have been sexually abused as children and now are suffering from MPD. I cannot imagine that there are monsters out there who abuse poor innocent children. The last patient in the documentary really broke my heart. How can a father prostitute her own child? How can he let grown men have sex with her when she was only 7? people like him should be tortured to death.
